Make Movies - Store Photos
One of the neatest things you can do with a personal computer of any variety is in the area of imaging. To get started you need to be sure you have some reasonable hard drive space, either internally or using an external add-on drive (thery are simple, plug-and-play devices these days) and some extra memory. For Windows based PC's we recommend a minimum of 512Mb of memory, and for Mac's it depends a lot on processing speed. If you are using a mini or portable, probably 1Mb to be safe, but the iMac is well structured internally, so you can get by with less.
We've tested Roxio products on both PC's and Mac's, and we are impressed with both. They operate intuitively with an elegant simplicity. These products, Media Creator 7 and Toast Titanium 6 are both able to handle a variety of media with a simple "drag and drop" interface. It's easy to simply archive any kinds of files, make photo CD's, create slide shows and even make movies on both that are impressive in quality for the low entry price. We can highly recommend these products.
